The sea was a bit choppier this time but the good news is the engine ran well with no further problems to report. Replacing the fuel pump seems to have rectified the problem!
More engine problems, mainly the carburettor flooding causing the engine to choke up and misfire.
An endurance run from Herne Bay to the Pollard Spit off of Sheppey, then down to Reculver, about 20 miles in flat seas. Still running the engine in so doing between 3500 and 4500 rpm
After trying various propellers, we have managed to reach a top speed of 50mph at 4000 rpm. The prop used in the viseo is a 14:23 Chopper. We have also tried a 14.5:24 Cleaver, which had a slightly higher to speed, but took longer for the boat to get onto the plane. Sadly, we lost the rear facing camera during the run!
